About the Australian Women in Distilling Association

Who we are

Australian Women in Distilling Association (AWDA) is the founding organisation for women in distilling in Australia.

AWDA was established in 2017 to promote, encourage, support and celebrate women in the Australian distilling industry.

We are a membership organisation led by women with a deep level of knowledge and expertise in distilling and it’s associated industries.

We are for women who are hands-on, experienced and eager to see themselves and the industry improve.

Crafted by distillers, for distillers.

Our Purpose

We empower women to thrive, through education, collaboration and a nurturing environment.

We elevate the status of women in distilling through industry representation, events and public communications.

We champion best practice because it moves the whole industry forward and we create diversity by attracting and embracing women from all parts of the industry.

Through events, networking, forums, and sharing knowledge and resources, we help women achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on the distilling industry.

Most importantly, we come together to elevate and celebrate women in distilling.
